Innotech 201 provides the student with the basic principles of controllers and their operation. This course also covers software application of Magellan, the graphical overlay of the BEMS.
After this course, the student will:

Innotech 202 is an intermediate course that covers the Omni Web Server and Focus programming workflow. It is assumed that the participant has a sound knowledge of HVAC systems and a basic understanding of BEMS. It is recommended to view Innotech 201 if required, prior to commencing this course.

This course provides important information in relation to BACnet networks in relation to the topology, programming, and awareness.
Prerequisites:

Focus Lite 1011 has been designed to provide the student with the required knowledge and skills to understand and utilise the Focus Lite software with the Innotech Omni BEMS platform.

Note that you will be provided a Focus licence once the workshop section is unlocked. This will occur when the trainer receives a notification that all the required modules have been viewed and or passed. This will be checked, and you will receive an e-mail from the Innotech server to activate your Innotech account and download Focus.

Focus Pro 1101 is designed to provide the student with the required knowledge and skills to identify and understand the components used in a standard Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, encompassing Innotech hardware and software products. Introductory skills are covered that form the essentials for HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS).

The Innotech OEM course is designed to provide an OEM integrator with the fundamentals of using the Innotech Omni products within your integration projects. Please start at the first module and work your way through the course.
Topics covered:
Duration: the course is self-paced and can be done over a series of sessions. Allow at least 24 to 48 hours in total to complete all items.

Software required: None, but Focus recommended to follow the items covered for the GUI and programming.

Recognition of Knowledge - Focus Professional Licence renewal - This assessment consists of numerous questions that covers various software functionality and features and is based on the Omni product range. It is an open-book assessment, and you can use any resources to locate the required question answers. This includes the Innotech website, Knowledge Base, and course handbooks.
Please take your time and do not rush through the questions. Once you have completed the RoK, ensure that you access and complete the Course Completed Feedback. This alerts us that your work has been submitted. All essay style questions will be graded once the assessment has been completed and submitted.

This course provides information in relation to the Modbus Protocol and the integration with the Omni product range. The course has been designed to provide general knowledge for the theory and application of the Protocol.
There are no workshops or quizzes to be completed for this course.

In this course, we will look at the fundamentals of controller logic and how to create this to allow the controller to function as required for a particular application. Various topics are covered from the beginning theory to building a final working configuration.
As you progress through the various lessons, the theory and application of configuration creation will be covered.
Lesson 1 will need to be completed prior to accessing Lesson 2 and so on until you have completed the course.
Please note that it will take some time to learn and master configuration building to an extent that you are confident. Please have patience and don't rush your work.
